DG CITYON Co., Ltd. (formerly Tien Chin Industrial Co., Ltd.) was founded in 1975 by the founders Mr. Chen Chin-Rong and Ms. Chen Lee Su-Mien. In its early stage, the company focused on introducing Japanese mechanical taxi meters, assisting Taiwan’s taxi industry in adopting professional fare calculation systems, and became an important driving force in the industry’s development at that time.
By Minguo Year 70 (1981), the company officially began designing and manufacturing taxi meters independently, successfully laying the foundation for local research and manufacturing in Taiwan. Upholding the principles of “integrity, professionalism, and quality,” the founders led the company to gradually accumulate technical expertise and establish an excellent reputation within the industry.
